collection contains photos and other memorabilia
pertaining to the Ables and Phillips families of Polk
County. Sharon Garretson is the daughter of Lillie Ables
Phillips and granddaughter of Ruby Ables who had a large
turkey production business in Bolivar. He owned Ables
Hatchery which was located one block off the southeast
corner of the square. Many of the photos in this
collection are unidentified. |
