This collection contains letters, land records, tax receipts, etc. for M. A. Mitchell, Asberry Mitchell, and L. J. Mitchell. Also included are four newspapers, small ledgers, and the program for the dedication of the statue of Simon Bolivar. The earliest dated paper is a ledger dated in the 1860s. 1937 is the last date noted on any item.
