"Mayfield Quilt Collection"

| This collection contains a "friendship" quilt gifted to Polk County Genealogical Society by Glenn Mayfield of Salisaw, Oklahoma in October of 2001. The quilt contains the names of at least 30 people. Most of the quilters lived in Polk County and it is believed that the quilt dates back to 1933. Information about the quilt and research into the families was compiled by Pamela Witt, a PCGS volunteer. | |
