The Polk County Genealogical Society Library and Research Facility is located on the southeast corner of the town square in Bolivar. The address is 120 E. Jackson, Bolivar, Missouri, 65613. Telephone number is 417-777-2820. Please contact PCGS for more information: info@pcgsmo.com

Parking is available on the south side of our facility, directly next to our building. Parking is also available 1 block to the south of our facility--public parking lot on the west side of Springfield Ave.

Parking is available on Jackson St. (on the square) on the north side of our facility. TWO HOUR LIMIT--overtime parking tickets are regularly issued, so take care :-)

From the south:

Take Highway 13 north to Bolivar. Take the first exit into Bolivar (Business 13 Highway). Turn right at top of ramp. This street is also known as Springfield Ave. or Highway 83. Continue on Springfield Ave. north through Bolivar to the town square. (The courthouse is located in the center of the square.) Turn left onto Jackson St. The PCGS Library will be on the left on the corner of Springfield and Jackson.

From the north, Highway 13 route:

Take Highway 13 south to Bolivar. Take the Highway 32 exit ramp. Turn left onto Highway 32. (This is also known as Business 13 Highway and Broadway St.) Continue into the town of Bolivar to the town square. Turn right onto Main Ave. at the first traffic light on the square. Go one block and then turn left onto Jackson St. The PCGS library will be on the right at the end of the block, before you reach Springfield Ave.

From the north, Highway 83 route:

Take Highway 83 south to Bolivar. Continue on Highway 83 into Bolivar (also known as Main Ave. once past Dunnegan Memorial Park). Continue through Bolivar to the town square. Continue south straight through the first traffic light on the square. Travel one block and turn left onto Jackson Street. The PCGS library will be on the right at the end of the block, before you reach Springfield Ave.

From the west:

Take Highway 32 east into the town of Bolivar. (This is also known as Business 13 Highway and Broadway St.) Continue into the town of Bolivar to the town square. Turn right onto Main Ave. at the first traffic light on the square. Go one block and then turn left onto Jackson St. The PCGS library will be on the right at the end of the block, before you reach Springfield Ave.

From the east:

Take Highway 32 west into the town of Bolivar. (This is also known as Broadway St.) Continue through Bolivar to the town square. Turn left at the first traffic light on the square (Springfield Ave.) and go one block. Turn right onto Jackson St. The library will be on the left, on the corner of Springfield and Jackson. It is located on the south side of Jackson St. and the courthouse is on the north side.
