First Baptist Church at Flemington MO was organized on Saturday Nov 27th 1909 by Bro. A. B. Haynes, Missionary of Polk County Association at the Methodist Church house by a number of Brothers and Sisters meeting there for that purpose. The following named Brothers and Sisters are charters members of said church, W. A. Stepheson, Luella Stepheson, H. G. Stepheson, Ella M. Stepheson, Perlina G. Higgins, Henry Bass, Lula Bass, Ella Selby, Manerva Selby, J. G. Selby, Eliza Wilson
